The kinds of Information we collect
Some of the personal information we may collect includes your name, phone number, and e-mail address. We will also collect other information relevant to your request, such as your needs and any related information to your condition. We separately collect information for website visit statistics, collected through Google Analytics.
How we use your Personal Information
Your personal information is collected and will not be shared to any third party. We will only collect and use information about you for the following purposes:
To respond to your request for information from us and, generally, to communicate with you.
To provide you with products or services that are requested or that are part of the ongoing service provided to our customers.
To comply with requests for disclosure, if required by law to do so.
By providing your information to us, you consent to these uses and disclosures.
We will obtain your consent before using your personal information for any other purpose.
Where we get your Personal Information
We get most of our information directly from you through electronic information requests you submit, both online and offline. We may also get information about you from calls, letters, e-mail and other correspondence we have with you.
Orthomedix does not knowingly collect or maintain any personal information from children under the age of 13. If OrthoMedix discovers that a child under the age of 13 has provided personally identifiable information to us, we will promptly remove that information from our files.
Orthomedix uses Google Analytics to paint a broad picture of the sorts of website traffic that comes to our website. No personal information (name/email/phone) is collected by Google: only your IP address and information relevant to the current website visit is actually collected by Google. The results we can view include: how our website visitors came to our site, the approximate location (using the IP address, which often is associated to a geographic location), and the pages visited on our website. This information allows us to review broad website trends, and it does not identify you to Google through any information you have submitted through our website (name/email/phone).
